Spectator Policies during Winter Season
In accordance with terms of our Schools Rentals Agreements and for safety reasons we ask that our membership adhere to the following rules with respect to spectators. Please note that failure to adhere to these rules may result in penalties for the club such as loss of facility access for the club and/or individual teams/user groups. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
NO SPECTATORS:
Spectators are not permitted to attend the following sessions;
- School Gyms (all schools) *
- RPYCC Gym
- Powerplex Benvons Room Turf
* At school locations - If necessary parents may come inside the building briefly at drop off and pick up to assist their child. However parents should leave the building once their child enters the gym. Coaches are required to check that all doors are secured once the last parent leaves at the start and end of session. Each school has very important rules relating to safety and security as well as school cleanliness and other aspects that our coaches and volunteers and their groups of players are responsible to ensure are strictly adhered to. If for some medical or other reason you would like to request permission to attend the session you can do so by contacting your Head Coach or Team Manager directly.
SPECTATORS PERMITTED:
The following facilities, where there is a bit more room, have designated spectator bleachers areas and spectators are permitted at these locations. However, We ask that spectators only watch from the designated spectator bleachers and follow the facility rules. At Tplex these spectator bleaches are on the left as you enter the turf. We appreciate that your child may be playing in an area which is on the opposite side however we ask that you still remain on the spectator side so that we can leave the space on the field and the player benches on the opposite side for players and coaches only.

Reminder from Techniplex Administration to Clubs;
" Please be aware that all renters, players, coaches and spectators are expected to follow the Techniplex policies.
The policies included:
Do not enter the field until the start time of your rental;
Please do not use equipment such as soccer balls, frisbees etc. on the sidelines when other groups are on the field as this can create safety issues. Please wait until the start time of your rental to enter the field area.
No Personal Items to be left in the Lobby;

Players are asked to store their footwear and belongings in the assigned change rooms. Spectators are asked to store their footwear in the designated areas in the lobby.
All people and equipment must be off of the field by the end time of your rental;
All nets must be pushed back to the sides and all equipment including balls, pylons etc. must be removed from the field. If your rental ends at 5pm the field must be clear before 5pm so the next group can start at 5pm.
Do not walk across the field to get to the next field or the exit, please walk on the sidelines;
Do not walk across the field during another group’s rental as this can create safety concerns and disrupt practices/games. Please use the entrances at the far ends of the field. In particular, parents are asked to enter and exit at the far end and remain on the sidelines.
Indoor footwear is required in the building.
Coffee on the field;
Robin’s Donuts has recently opened in the Techniplex lobby. The Techniplex is going to allow Robin’s Donut customers to bring coffee/tea to the bleacher area on the field for a trial basis. All used cups along with all other garbage must be placed in the garbage bins. Cups must be empty of all liquid before being placed in the garbage bins. If staff find people are leaving a mess (garbage, spills, full cups etc.) on the bleachers or the field area we will return to the previous policy of no drinks allowed on the field. We ask all patrons to keep the field area clean so that it is safe for children to take part in their practices and games.
