Competitive

Our Competitive Team Programs build on our Developmental Programs and provide a higher level of training and competition. While operating in a competitive environment, the primary focus remains on the development of each player within a team setting.

In youth competitive soccer, the Provincial Leagues governed by the Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association represent the highest levels of play. Teams compete provincially in either the Premier League or the Championship League, with the Premier League serving as the top tier. At this level, teams have the opportunity to represent the province at Club Atlantic and National Championships.

Please Note:
Players must attend tryouts and be selected to a competitive team before registering.

BU15/U17 Pay & Play Winter Program  (for players born 2009 to 2012)

  • Subject to interest levels from U15 and U17 players PSC will field a BU15 Metro team for Metro League play and potentially a BU15 Championship team. However based on Fall numbers we cannot confirm this at this time. It will require additional interest.

  • Combining  BU15 and U17 players not selected at Fall tryouts we have sufficient numbers to offer this indoor training program after Christmas.

  • The intent is solely to provide a standalone training opportunity for these players to stay active. The club is not in a position to commit that we can provide a playing environment as this will depend on interest at the spring tryout.

  • We will have an open registration for a tryout in spring! Players that were not selected in Fall to PYL teams will be invited to register for the Spring Tryout (whether they opt to participate in the Pay & Play program or not, and we will also advertise the tryout publicly via our website. Assuming we can meet the required minimum roster sizes our intent is to field teams.

  • Indoor Program Dates: January 5th to April 26th, 2026

  • Program Schedule;

    • Saturdays 3pm Octagon Pond Elementary

    • Mondays 8:30pm Paradise Elementary

BU15/U17 Combined Pay & Play Fees

  • Winter Registration -  $320 (Breakdown: $320 Indoor Program Fee)

    • Winter Registrants have the option to pay the full amount or opt for the payment plan with predetermined dates as outlined during registration.

    • Nov. 24th to 30th - Priority Registration Password sent to Fall Tryout Registrants

    • Dec 1st to 7th - General Open Registration

Spring Fees

  • PSC will invite players to register for Spring Tryouts ($25).

  • Subject to sufficient numbers tryouts will go ahead for identified teams. Tryout fees will be fully refunded in the event a tryout does not go ahead due to insufficient interest.

  • Spring Payment* - $525-$600*. If selected to a team all players will pay League Fees* for either Metro ($375) or Championship ($450) plus the $100 Base fee and $50 Ticket Fee.

* The above noted Spring fees are tentative, consistent with 2025 amounts. In the event of a material increase in the cost associated with offering our programs due to factors such as higher training facility rentals costs, reduced government grants and funding, etc. these fees may be subject to adjustment.
