Supervisor Summer Programs
- Duration: 20 weeks.
- Minimum 35 hrs per week, variable.
- Start Date: May 1st.
- Rate of Pay: Commensurate with experience.
- Hours of Work: Office based 1:00pm - 8:00pm, Monday to Thursday plus some weekend hours.
- Place of work: Monday to Thursday office based 1:00pm-4:30pm and on site 4:30pm onwards. Weekends variable based on hosting schedule.

Supervisor Summer Programs
Job Description
Duties, roles and responsibilities for this position include the following;
Coordination of Summer Program Operations
- Oversee the coordination of PSC summer programs.
- Field (& Lights) scheduling for Explosion practises and games.
- Point of contact for League Administrators. Dealing with game/schedule changes. Communicating League Information/Updates to Explosion coaches.
- Point of contact for all PSC Explosion coaches for scheduling changes.
- Point of contact for PSC Explosion team managers for equipment/uniform requests.
Recreational Staff Supervision
- Assist with interview and hiring process.
- Ensuring staff meet certifications and eligibility requirements prior to start date.
- Organize and facilitate staff orientation and training in the week prior to start up.
- Summer Staff Scheduling for recreational programs, Hosting Tournament/Leagues, and Camps and Other Duties. (Including referees for Rec Programs).
- Communicating staff schedules and adjustments to staff in a timely manner.
- Staff Assignments in collaboration with coordinators. (Including referees for Rec Programs).
- Conflict Resolution.
- Identify and address staff performance concerns as required (e.g. attendance, punctuality and work ethic).
- Maintain a database of staff hours. Systematic tracking and recording of hours worked by staff.
- Ensuring timely submission of payroll for staff (Including referees for Rec Programs).
- Work collaboratively and cooperatively to ensure payroll process is timely and accurate.
Sunsplash Tournament Event Hosting Support
- Work with, assist and support the PSC Sunsplash Committee to plan and deliver on the hosting objectives and requirements of the tournament.
Customer Service / Administrative Assistance
- Receive and action inquiries from the general public as required.
- Receive, record and report complaints or concerns to the Manager of Soccer Operations. Initiate follow-up as directed.
- Provide administrative assistance in dealing with registrations/payments of players for programs and camps.
- Assist the PSC Administrative Officer with team registrations as required.
Facilities, Site Security and Logistics
- Liaise with Town of Paradise or Club representatives regarding fields and facilities requirements (e.g., buildings, bleachers, roads and parking), maintenance and / or safety concerns.
- Supervise coordination of site and building safety and security (e.g., facility locks and alarms).
- Traffic Safety Measures - Monitor, identify and address concerns relating to road access restrictions, measures, designated parking areas.
- Liaise with with?Manager of Soccer Operations, the Town of Paradise and League Coordinator or Representative regarding field closures due to adverse weather/field conditions.
Other Duties

- Present Monthly Reports to Manager of Soccer Operations and/or Program Directors.

Coordinator - Recreational Programs (Two Positions)
Job Description
Hiring for two positions in this role. Candidates will be expected to work collaboratively with the other Coordinator of Recreation Programs to ensure effective delivery of the Recreational Programs.
Duties, roles and responsibilities for this position include the following;
Soccer 4 Fun Program & Staff Coordination
- Curriculum development
- Technical Program design and delivery in consultation with the Manager of Soccer Operations.
- Program Implementation - Deliver Staff & Volunteer Orientation, Training and Mentorship
- Assist supervisor with staff assignments (e.g. role clarity).
- Age Group Lead providing direction to Instructors/Interns and hands on support during session delivery.
- Monitoring staff performance, attendance and punctuality and reporting issues to Supervisor Summer Programs.
- Assisting in overseeing completion of timesheets (e.g. instructors/interns/referees)
Soccer 4 Fun Apparel
- Assist with the assignment of Players to Teams (e.g. accounting for Team Requests);
- Assist with inventory of Soccer 4 Fun jerseys/uniforms;
- Support the distribution of players' jerseys/uniforms (during Jersey Night).
- Support the distribution of summer staff/volunteer apparel.
Soccer 4 Fun Equipment Maintenance
- Daily Inventory and restocking of equipment packs as needed.
- Ensure necessary coaches equipment packs are available.
- Oversee processes of set up and tear down of soccer activities and equipment storage.
Rec Leagues Manager
- Ensuring the creation of balanced teams.
- Building Rec League schedules.
- Collecting Game sheets and information and responsible for uploading results daily to the Rec Leagues Webpage.
- Hosting Logistics - Ensuring staff understand and execute hosting requirements (e.g. field Set Up, coaching Roles, and result reporting).
Program Health & Safety
- Ensuring staff adherence to Site Safety Protocols, such as Goal Post Safety, and identifying incidents of non-conformity.
- Inventory and management of Safety Equipment (First Aid Packs).
- Ensure Soccer 4 Fun Emergency Action Plans are up to date (including players contact information) and in safety packs.
- Identify and address safety issues as needed with S4F participants (e.g., Goal Safety - players hanging, staff moving goals, car parks and traffic control). Ensuring Accident / Incident Report Forms are completed as needed for Soccer 4 Fun program.
- Ensure Rule of Two is adhered to.
Facilities, Site Security and Logistics
- Adhere to, monitor and report issues to supervisor regarding fields, facilities (e.g., buildings, bleachers, roads and parking), maintenance and / or safety concerns.

- Work with Paradise Soccer Club executive & staff to ensure the highest standards in competitions hosting requirements (Tournaments and Leagues) throughout the summer (Explosion).
- Hosting Logistics - Ensuring Field Marshalls understand and execute hosting roles and responsibilities. Monitor Performance and report Issues to Supervisor.
- Ensure the greeting and directing teams upon arrival, providing access to dressing rooms.
- Overseeing Field Set Up (e.g., ensure goals are in positions, and placement of cones, benches as required)
- Preparing and distributing Field Marshalls packs (including necessary Manuals, contacts, equipment, Game Balls, corner flags, First Aid Packs, building keys etc.)
- Providing support documents and training for Field Marshalls.
- Head Marshall when on site at Metro Weekends (overseeing all Field Marshalls).
- Communicating Tournament Rules and Regulations and maintaining updated documentation.
- Dealing with general tournament logistics, signage, trophies and hosting site requirements.
- Coordinating the timely submission of End of Weekend Reports, Incident and Accident Reports as and when required.
Camps Coordination
- Support the Paradise Soccer Club Executive & Staff to coordinate a variety of soccer camps/programs throughout the summer.

- Acting as Game Leaders to supervise scrimmages for Fundamentals Program.
- Preparing for field layout sessions, setting up and dismantling equipment and placing or retrieving from storage.
- Placing or collecting cones, and goals as directed by senior staff.
