Under 11 Assessments and Under 12 - Under 18 Tryouts
We are pleased to announce the dates of our Fall Assessments/Tryouts for the 2023/24 Season. After the Assessments/Tryouts are completed registration will open, and Indoor training then commences in early November.
Registration Fee: $25 - Register on our portal.
Please note these dates may be subject to changes at the clubs discretion as we try to navigate a busy time of year for youth sports and other activities. Each group has been assigned three 1 hour slots for tryouts. In the event of extreme weather sessions may be postponed or cancelled at the clubs discretion and where possible rescheduled subject to field availability.
Under 17 PYL Tier 2
As per the NLSA rules and regulations manual 2.1.5.h - Starting in the 2024 season the U17 Tier 2 age group will be replaced with a U18 Tier 2 age group. This will mean that players born 2006 will be eligible to participate in this division along with the 2007 and 2008 born players. 2006 Born players will not be eligible for selection to U17 Tier 1 Teams.
U13/U15 Metro
As always subject to interest levels we will field multiple teams providing the opportunity for players of varying ability, and commitment to participate at the provincial level (Premier Youth League Tiers 1 and 2) as well as Regional levels (Metro League Tier 1 and 2). PYL represents the highest levels of play available in the province.
PYL teams are announced October 31st at the latest. Any players that attended PYL tryouts but were not selected for PYL teams are automatically invited to attend Metro Tryouts. Players that are solely interested in playing Metro should not attend the PYL tryout sessions.
