Reminder on Rules for Competitive Teams Tryouts

Sep. 19, 2024

Hi Member Clubs,

At the end of each season, players are free to leave their current club and try out for any club of their choice. However, they can only tryout for one club, as players are permitted to be registered with only one club at a time. If a player successfully makes the team they tryout for and wishes to transfer (during the transfer window), they would be required to pay a transfer fee. If a player tries out for a club but does not make the team they tryout for, they are allowed to transfer to another club during the transfer window.

Below is a link to the Policies and Guideline manual. The information on transfers can be found there.

1.5  Players wishing to leave one Club/Region to play with another Club/Region in the same season require a transfer from the NLSA. (See Registration Policy - Table A Above)
