Our Developmental Programs are designed for players aged Under 7 to Under 13 who want to train and play in a fun, development-focused environment.
Programs and leagues at these ages align with Canada Soccer’s Grassroots Standards, providing players with more frequent touches on the ball and consistent training over longer periods of time. These programs build skills, confidence, and a love for the game, with opportunities for team play during the outdoor season.
Perfect for young soccer enthusiasts who want to learn, improve, and enjoy the game!
Canada Soccer has introduced new Grassroots Standards for 2026. As a result, the Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association (NLSA) is updating program names and competition formats to align with these national standards.
Key updates include:
Registration for all programs must be completed through our online RAMP Registration Portal.
If you have questions after reviewing the information and Q&A resources, please contact info@pysa.ca. During busy periods in the fall and spring, please allow up to one week for a response.
The table below outlines the number of teams we plan to field in each division and the maximum number of players we can accommodate. Our program capacity is based on several factors, including facility availability, volunteer support, and overall player registration numbers. If a program reaches capacity, we encourage families to join the waitlist. Should additional space become available (for example, through increased volunteer support or team expansion), we will make every effort to accommodate waitlisted players.

PSC is excited to be rolling out our 2025/26 Indoor Programs which will align with the new standards and at the same time reflect the needs and resources of our growing club. Here is a link to a Q & A to help you understand the changes! If you have read the Q&A and still have questions they can be directed to info@pysa.ca. During busy Fall and spring periods please allow for up to one week for us to respond.
Spaces in the indoor program are limited based on facility availability and volunteer support. If programs reach capacity, players can join a waitlist, and we will make every effort to accommodate additional players.
Players who do not participate in the indoor phase are welcome to attend Spring Assessments, where available spaces may open depending on capacity.
Our goal is to provide opportunities for as many players as possible to participate and develop within the club.
